Welcome to SPACE, a daily reset and spiritual wellness app operated by Learning While Healing ("Learning While Healing," "we," "us," or "our"), accessible at https://space.learningwhilehealing.com (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. About the Service
SPACE is a digital subscription app that helps you create space for what matters most through daily mood check-ins, guided journaling, gratitude practice, Scripture reflections, breathing and reset exercises, prayer follow-ups, and personal insights dashboards. SPACE combines Christian faith practices with evidence-based tools drawn from cognitive behavioral techniques and mindfulness.
SPACE is a self-care and spiritual wellness tool. It is not a medical device, therapy, counseling, psychiatric care, or a crisis service. See Section 9 (Important Health Disclaimer).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase a subscription. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may only use the App with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and a parent or guardian must complete any purchase on your behalf. The App is not intended for children under 13.
3. Your Account
To use SPACE, you must register with accurate and complete information, including your name, email address, age range, and country. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@learningwhilehealing.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. We may suspend or close accounts created with false information.
4. Subscription Plans and Pricing
SPACE offers the following paid membership (the "SPACE Circle"):
- Founding Member Rate: ₱199 per month. Available to a limited number of founding members. The founding rate is locked in for as long as your subscription remains active and in good standing. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, the founding rate is no longer guaranteed upon re-subscription.
- Standard Rate: ₱299 per month. Applies after founding slots are filled.
All prices are in Philippine Pesos (PHP) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We may introduce additional plans (such as annual billing) or adjust standard pricing in the future; any price change will be communicated to you in advance and will not affect an active founding member's locked rate.
5. Payments and Billing
Payments are processed securely by Xendit, our third-party payment gateway. Accepted payment methods include GCash, Maya, credit and debit cards, and other channels supported by Xendit in your region.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled.
- By subscribing, you authorize us and Xendit to charge your selected payment method the applicable subscription fee each billing period.
- If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you and may retry the charge. If payment is not completed within a reasonable grace period, your premium access will be paused until payment is settled. Founding members whose subscriptions lapse due to non-payment may lose the founding rate.
- We do not store your complete card numbers or e-wallet credentials. Payment details are handled by Xendit under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the App's Settings or by emailing support@learningwhilehealing.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will keep full premium access until that date, and you will not be charged again. We do not charge cancellation fees.
7. Refund Policy
Because SPACE is a digital service with immediate access upon payment, subscription fees already paid are generally non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods. However, we will issue a full refund in the following cases:
- Duplicate or erroneous charges. If you were charged more than once for the same billing period, or charged an incorrect amount, we will refund the excess.
- Billing errors on our side. If a technical error caused a charge you did not authorize, we will refund it in full.
- First-time subscription, within 7 days. If you subscribed for the first time and the App did not work as described on your device, contact us within 7 calendar days of your first payment and we will make it right, up to and including a full refund of that first payment.
To request a refund, email support@learningwhilehealing.com with your account email and the date of the charge. Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to your original payment method, subject to the processing timelines of Xendit and your bank or e-wallet provider.
8. Free Content and Trials
Some features of SPACE may be available free of charge. We may modify, limit, or discontinue free features at any time. If we offer a free trial, the terms of the trial (length and conversion to a paid plan) will be disclosed at sign-up.
9. Important Health Disclaimer
SPACE provides faith-based self-care and personal development content for general wellbeing. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional mental health care.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, do not use the App as a source of help. Please contact your local emergency services or the National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) Crisis Hotline in the Philippines at 1553 (landline, toll-free) or 0917-899-8727 / 0966-351-4518 (mobile), or the equivalent hotline in your country.
Always consult a qualified physician or licensed mental health professional for questions about a medical or psychological condition. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read or experienced in the App.
10. Your Content
Journal entries, mood logs, gratitude notes, prayer requests, and other content you create in the App ("Your Content") belong to you. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content back to you solely to operate and improve the service (for example, generating your personal insights). We do not publish Your Content. Testimonials are shared publicly only if you explicitly submit and consent to them.
11. Our Intellectual Property
The App and all of its content — including text, guided sessions, audio recordings, frameworks, prompts, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by or licensed to Learning While Healing and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, record, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written permission.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users' accounts, or our systems; (c) interfere with the App's security or availability; (d) upload malicious code; or (e) misuse referral codes or founding member slots (including creating multiple accounts to claim promotional pricing). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, and Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, and 15 survive.
14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to keep SPACE reliable, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Learning While Healing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, and our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute shall first be raised with us at support@learningwhilehealing.com so we can attempt to resolve it amicably. Unresolved disputes shall be brought before the proper courts of Taguig City, Philippines.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date, and material changes will be communicated in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
