You can delete your SPACE account yourself, at any time, directly in the app. There's no email to send and nothing to wait for.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to SPACE (on the web, in the Android app, or in the iOS app) and open Settings.
- Under Your data, tap Delete my account.
- Read what will be deleted, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account permanently.
Your account is deleted immediately and you're signed out. If you can no longer sign in, email support@learningwhilehealing.com from the address on your account and we'll help.
What gets deleted
- Account and profile information
- Your sign-in methods, including a linked Google or Apple account
- Mood check-ins, journal entries and gratitude entries
- Saved Scripture verses and reflections
- Journey and program progress, small wins, streak and progress activity
- Reminder preferences and push notification subscriptions
- Feedback you sent from Settings → Send feedback
- Other personal wellbeing content associated with the account
Subscriptions
App Store subscriptions: Deleting your SPACE account does not cancel an App Store subscription. SPACE cannot cancel Apple billing for you. To stop future charges, manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions). The app reminds you of this before you delete.
Direct (web) subscriptions: If you have an auto-renewing web subscription, we cancel it first so you're never charged again. If we can't confirm the cancellation, your account is not deleted and the app shows you where to cancel it yourself, so you're never billed for an account that no longer exists. One-time annual payments don't renew and need no action.
What may be retained
- Payment and transaction records
- Tax and accounting records
- Records needed to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, honour an email unsubscribe, or comply with legal obligations
- Copies in our hosting provider's routine database backups, for a limited period until those backups are automatically replaced
Retained records are limited to what is necessary for these purposes and are not used for a deleted account.
Delete feedback without deleting your account
To delete a message you sent from Settings → Send feedback, or to ask us to stop contacting you about it, email support@learningwhilehealing.com from the email address on your SPACE account. Tell us which message you mean (the date you sent it is enough). We will act on your request within the timelines required by law. Your account and everything else in it stay as they are.
If you signed in with Apple or Google
Deleting your account removes the link between SPACE and your Apple or Google account. Apple and Google also keep their own record that you used them with SPACE. You can remove SPACE there too: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → SPACE → Stop Using Apple ID; for Google, your Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services.
